2016 Huntersville National Enduro & Snowshoe GNCC
The Huntersville National Enduro was far up north in Huntersville, Minnesota. According to Jesse Groemm, the heat and sand combined to make it one of the toughest events of 2016.
Steward Baylor Jr finished 2nd Overall on his SRT Offroad KTM. A mechanical in the last two tests l;held him back from reeling in Russell Bobbitt, but he also stated that “Russell had us covered, so I don’t think it would made a difference.”
Jesse Groemm continues to excel on his Solid Performance KTM with 3rd Overall. Grant Baylor was 4th overall on his AmPro Yamaha, Cory Buttrick rode his SRT Offroad KTM to 11th overall and Tegan Temple and his BETA finished 19th overall.
Following into the next weekend, riders converged on the Snowshoe mountain top for the Snowshoe GNCC.
Grant Baylor stood on the overall podium in the 3rd spot, riding his AmPro Yamaha to 3rd overall and 2nd in XC1. Jordan Ashburn was right behind Baylor, 3rd in XC1 aboard his Westfield Powersports KTM.
SRT Offroad’s Steward Baylor Jr finished 4th in XC1, while teammate Cory Buttrick finished 8th.
Obermeyer MCS Racing riders Ricky Russell and Chris Douglas were 7th and 10th respectively in XC1.
In the XC2 class, Jesse Groemm finished 5th riding his Solid Performance KTM, Zack Hayes finished 11th and Tegan Temple finished 17th.
The National Enduro Series picks up July 24th at the Rattlesnake National Enduro while the GNCC Series is on their summer break.
