'Party Time (Bring your own Bottle)' layout by Niki Rowland for Hip Kit Club and Mixed Media Monday. My assignment for this week was to scrap a party or celebration theme. Well, other than Christmas, there isn't a lot going on in my life at the moment, I have three young kids so I don't get to a lot of parties! So I went for some photos of my little baby, wide awake at night, ready for a party, when I wanted to go to sleep! So a slight alternative on the party theme, but hey, it works!
I used the awesome January Color Kit to create the background for this layout. I used the three Prima Color Bloom 2 sprays (Wild Raspberry, Spring Dandelion and Fairy Pond) mixed with the Prima Modelling Paste. I applied them through the stencil and dried each colour with my heat tool before moving on to the next colour. I then added extra colour with the packaging technique.
I added my photos onto the Mixed Media area and added my title using a mixture of Thickers. I then added tone-on-tone embellishments before finishing with some journaling.
